Harold Gordon, MD FAAP
Dr. Gordon is a Board Certified Pediatrician who has been practicing on the Main Line since 1980. He graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine in 1977 and completed his Pediatric Residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in 1980. He serves on the Executive Committee in the Department of Pediatrics for Main Line Health System and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Gordon has received the “Top Doc” award in Pediatrics from both Philadelphia Magazine (2004-2012) and Main Line Magazine (2011 & 2012). He has served as an Instructor for medical students and family practice and pediatric residents at Jefferson, DuPont and MLH hospitals. He has been featured by numerous media outlets on topics such as pill swallowing, raising children with laughter, PANDAS, the H1N1 outbreak and car sickness. Dr. Gordon is married to Susan, and they have four children; Alisa, Kivi, Ari and Gavi; and are the proud grandparents of six.
Linda Klinow, MD FAAP
Dr. Klinow is a Board Certified Pediatrician who completed her Pediatric residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in 1984. She has been in private practice since that time and is a featured guest on the web series, “Mom Life.” Dr. Klinow is married to Robert Karlsruher and they have three children; Andrew, Haley and Jacob.
Scott Pugh, MD FAAP
Dr. Pugh is a Board Certified Pediatrician who graduated from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2004 before completing his Pediatric Residency at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA in 2008. He served as the General Medical Officer onboard USS Whidbey Island where in addition to caring for the crew, he also treated victims of Hurricane Katrina and refugees from Beirut during the Israeli-Hezbollah war of 2006.
Prior to joining us, Dr. Pugh served as a General Pediatrician at the US Naval Hospital in Naples, Italy and held several leadership roles there including Chair of the Special Needs Review Board and Chair of the Family Advocacy Committee. In 2011 he was appointed to the Surgeon General’s Healthcare Ethics Education Development Committee. Dr. Pugh is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is an award-winning bioethics essayist and his pediatric interests include early childhood development, sports medicine and cardiology. He is married to Suzanne Koziol Pugh, also a physician on the Main Line, and together they have two sons; Carter and Graham.
Lisa Heller, MD FAAP
Dr. Heller is a Board Certified Pediatrician who graduated from The University of Pennsylvania Medical School and completed her residency at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. After her residency, she completed a three-year fellowship in General Pediatrics before serving as an inpatient pediatric ward attending at CHOP.
Dr. Heller is a featured medical contributor to Sesame Street Magazine and has given several lectures on children’s health topics to area schools. Her special interests include judicious antibiotic use, vaccine education and international adoption. Dr. Heller is married to Harry Roth and they have three sons; Andrew, Eric and Michael.
Jacalyn Maller, MD FAAP
Dr. Maller, a graduate of Harvard Medical School, completed her Pediatric Residency at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in 1987 before moving to Boston to complete fellowship training in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. She has worked over ten years in the emergency departments of CHOP and Boston Children’s Hospital. She is Board Certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Maller was recently named a “Top Physician” by Suburban Life Magazine. She is a recipient of the Joseph Collins Foundation Scholarship and has written several textbook chapters on pediatric medicine. Her interests include adolescent women’s health and ADHD. Dr. Maller has been a featured guest lecturer of medical students and pediatric residents. She is married to Eric Maller and they have two children; Rebecca and David.
Jill Render, MD FAAP
Dr. Render is a Board Certified Pediatrician who graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann University in 2000. She completed her residency at the University of Chicago Hospital. Dr. Render worked in Seattle, Washington in a private practice and at Seattle Children’s Hospital for four years. She is married to Leonid Katolik and they have two sons; Aiden and Niko.
